Dale A. Burrows' Legal Staff
Lorin is the person who assists Mr. Burrows in his daily practice of law. She is responsible for liaison between the client and attorney. She prepares drafts of pleadings for review and approval, document analysis, research, discovery preparation including interrogatories, disclosure, production, admissions, and assists Mr. Burrows to prepare for depositions. She has direct interaction with each family law client, assisting in all aspects of the client's legal matter that does not require a law degree. Although she cannot represent the client, she most certainly will become very involved with the client and the legal matter.
The National Federation of Paralegal Associations defines a paralegal as "a person qualified through education, training or work experience, to perform substantive legal work that requires knowledge of legal concepts and is customarily, but not exclusively, performed by a lawyer. This person may be retained or employed by a lawyer, law office, governmental agency, or other entity or may be authorized by administrative, statutory or court authority to perform this work."
Lorin's background, education, training, and work experience definitely qualifies her to perform substantive legal work in your behalf and at a much less expensive rate than you would be charged by your attorney. She stands ready to assist you upon your call.
Gina is the firm's criminal law paralegal. She works under the direct supervision of Mr. Hoffman, a licensed attorney, who assumes full responsibility for her work product. Gina is currently working toward obtaining her Bachelor Of Arts degree at Texas Womens University. Gina has over five years experience as a paralegal, all of which was spent working for law firms within the Metroplex. She is extremely knowledgeable and understands the intricacies of how to make a case "trial ready" for the attorney. Her communication skills are an attribute that greatly enhances the client's experience working with this firm in the achievement of a successful prosecution of the case.
