I received primary custody and very favorable terms Oct 16, 2025

I spent over two years fighting a custody case with my previous law firm and practically made no progress at all. As the father, I was in a bad spot because of false claims of violence, so it was very difficult for me to make a case for primary custody. Opposing counsel constantly hammered at the claims of violence (which were dismissed at the DA). That changed rapidly when I hired Burrows Law Group to take over the case. From the first time I spoke with Adam, I could see that he was personally frustrated with how I had been treated, and was invested in helping me turn the case around. Within 3 days of hiring the firm, I saw progress. Adam was passionate during trials, and brought to light the constant lies from opposing party. I honestly felt like a good friend was there to fight for me. He would not let the opposing party get away with slander or lies. Lily and Brielle were always available, kind, understanding, and quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. I felt like they truly cared and were personally invested in my case. In the end, the case was settled, and I received primary custody and very favorable terms in the final decree of divorce. I would strongly recommend all of them to anyone who is looking for a zealous representation, especially if your situation is similar. Choosing Burrows Legal Team is NOT a Regret! Jul 14, 2025

I know reviews are meant to be short and sweet, so if you are not willing to read a short novel to FULLY understand what you are about to get into, you might want to skip past my review (I do not recommend doing so as this might just help you make a decision if you are on the fence in regards to trying to decide on a lawyer and a team or even who to use if you haven't spoken with anyone). Burrows Law Group has represented us in what we knew would be a tedious, sticky, trying, infuriating, sickening custody battle that would require someone (and a team) that not only LISTENED, but understood, empathized, and most importantly knows when to "throw the gauntlet" as I like to call it. The ONLY mistake we made with Burrows Law Group was that they were our THIRD law firm hired for our case. I wish they had been the first legal team we had found because we would not have needed another. We started out with little guns who were trying to clean up a mess that they did not create when it was truly a little too late. Even then they did all that they could, but it was not until 4 years later that our worst fears came true and we needed the Burrows team again. This time though, I wanted the big guns, and that was Adam Burrows himself. While Adam was not actively/consistently involved in our first go round, he remembered it, and he remembered us (please keep in mind it had been FOUR years). This is my first point with Burrows Law Group... you are NOT a number, you are a person. Did I mention this is a family business??? Yah, yah, yah, I know they are all a family business somehow but I don't think you understand. I have watched Adam & Jessica grow their "family" over the last 8 years and that is how they treat each person they employ, which in turn creates one of the most cohesive & best legal teams I have EVER had to deal with. Lily Lord (Paralegal) and Brielle Ward (Sr Attorney) are two of the most thorough, punctual, patient, and humble people (next to Adam & Jessica) I have ever met. I think they have had to deal with me in every mood possible and have never had a harsh word or anything but understanding and the desire to provide us with clarity and support. Poor Madison Duehr (Family Law Paralegal) had to sub in on several occasions and even she, having no idea what was coming at her, handled it with professionalism and the desire to help. Even Jennifer Hicks (Legal Assistant/Billing Coordinator) and Christian Mathis (Administrator/Intake Specialist) have been absolute delights to deal with, and they both have had to tolerate me on my worst days and have never had the pleasure (that I can recall) of getting me on a good day, yet they were always kind and helpful EVERY time I spoke with them. Legal issues are SUPER stressful, especially family law, so understanding the personality, mindset, and culture of the legal team you are choosing is soooo important. If you are looking for a legal team that is honest to a fault, driven, passionate, tenured, well-equipped, reliable, and NOT driven by money but by whatever the RIGHT thing to do may be..... THIS is your team. If you want a legal team that is vested, genuinely cares, is ethical and knows just about every play in the playbook... THIS is your team. If you are looking for a team that is timely, respectful of your time and dollar, has accurate & timely billing with no surprises and 100% open lines of communication, THIS is your team! If you are looking for someone that treats you and your case like family (almost 9 years with the same legal team beginning to end is a lllloooonnnnggggg time, it was inevitable)... THIS is your team. Choosing Burrows Legal Team is NOT a decision you will regret! While I hope we NEVER cross paths for legal purposes again, they are on speed dial on my phone and are who I feel most comfortable entering into a custody debate/discussion/battle/mediation with... ABSOLUTELY no hesitation.

Best Team I Could Ever Ask For Jun 30, 2025

Daniel and Madison have been the best team I could ever ask for. Transparent, on top of communication, informative, hold a great deal of knowledge/experience in custody/divorce issues. I recommend and would run to them if I ever have another issue with custody.
