Dr. Jessica Burrows, PhD, LPC, CFLE
Bio
As a Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) through the National Council on Family Relations, Dr. Jessica Burrows brings a unique and highly valuable perspective to the family law setting by combining evidence-based knowledge of family systems, communication, child development, conflict resolution, and relational dynamics with practical client support, executive leadership, and strategic planning experience. While Dr. Burrows is not an attorney and does not provide legal representation or legal advice, her background strengthens a family law firm’s ability to approach divorce, custody disputes, co-parenting transitions, and high-conflict matters with greater insight into the emotional and interpersonal complexities families face.
A CFLE credential reflects advanced training in helping individuals and families navigate life changes in healthier, more informed ways, enhancing client communication, compassionate and strategic case management, and long-term family stability alongside strong legal advocacy. In addition to her clinical and educational background, Dr. Burrows also brings experience in CFO leadership, marketing, operations, and business strategy, allowing her to contribute to both client-centered support and the overall growth and vision of the firm.
Through NextGen Counseling, PLLC, Dr. Burrows’ long-term goal is to help bridge the gap between mental health support and family law advocacy by integrating compassionate therapeutic insight with strong legal guidance to help create meaningful, lasting change for individuals, children, and families navigating difficult transitions.
